Better Than Any Prize
So I am a semi-finalist in the Best Coaching Blogs of 2010 competition. I was honored to be included with such incredible blog writers at Laurie Foley and Jeannette Maw. But the contest has given me something much more rewarding than any prize. I had wanted to finish in the top ten, but that doesn’t matter anymore because I have already received my award.
The comments from readers have truly touched my heart. I never would have thought that honestly sharing my experiences would touch so many others. Deb left a comment on the contest page, “I love the way Melissa writes – when you are carrying a load on your shoulders you can feel it melt away!” Knowing that my words can make a difference in someone’s life brings tears of joy to my eyes. And M. wrote “They [the posts] really make you take a look at your life in a way that you might not have thought of before.”
I became a coach because I wanted to make the world a better place, one person at a time. I am honored that my words are helping to do just that. There is no greater joy than making someone else happy, content, and hopeful.
No matter what happens in the competition, I feel like a winner. Thank you all for your support. I am so glad I can serve you in making your life just that little bit better.
