The Shoemaker’s Children

Let me start with a big thank you to all of those who voted for me in the Next Greatest Speaker and Author competition.  Your vote, support, and kind words mean so much to me.  I truly appreciate your compassion and encouragement during this competition.  Unfortunately I have not made it to the next round.  […]

“Overnight” Success

It seems many business success stories are told the same way.  The story starts at the pivotal point where the right investor, economic issue, resource, or other element pops into place launching a billion dollar business idea.  If I were to share my friend Camilo’s story this way, it would start out:  From out of […]

One of my favorite clients visited me recently.  The sessions are a lot of fun for both of us because we toggle between business planning and personal growth.  What I noticed recently is that my client also toggles his personality depending on which subject we are addressing.  We talk about personal goals and he is […]

No Pain, All Gain

There are probably thousands of articles which talk about how to work more efficiently, to keep all departments focused on a singular goal, and to help us stay motivated no matter how daunting the task. But I am learning about a new tool which can accomplish more than I ever did before and with much less effort.

Priorities

An MBA graduate shared a question which was presented in his training. “If you had to decide to increase revenue or save lives, which would you choose?” The answer seemed pretty clear to me, but the MBA graduate said, “There is no right or wrong answer.” Really???
